We are looking for an experienced commercial/industrial electrician to join our friendly team. This is an excellent step for someone looking to develop their electrical contracting skills and move forward with their career

The Role:

Commercial/industrial installations within a cross section of sectors including education, hospitality and leisure

  • You will be involved in all aspects of electrical installation plus testing, fire alarms, door access systems etc.
  • As a company we look to deliver an excellent quality of service for our Clients and are proud of our 'can do' attitude
  • Scope to take on additional responsibilities, lead contracts and grow with the company

About You:

Essentially you will enjoy working as an electrician, have ambitions to move forward in your career and take pride in your work, appreciating the need to deliver jobs on time and on budget

  • A team player with a good sense of humour
  • Have a minimum 2 years commercial experience and hold an up to date ECS card.
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious, organised, reliable and hardworking with good time keeping
  • Have an attention to detail and pride in your work ensuring work areas are clean and tidy and installations are neat
  • Ideally you will have experience working to tight deadlines and be a finisher who can bring jobs in on time and on budget
  • You will be happy working within a team but have the confidence, knowledge and ability to work independently and use your own initiative to move jobs on

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years commercial/industrial installation experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of BS7671 18th edition
  • Current ECS card
  • Inspection and testing desirable but not essential
  • IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness desirable but not essential and training will be provided if needed
  • Punctual, reliable and takes pride in their work
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and contract manager
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Full clean driving license held for minimum 12 months
  • Able to obtain DBS clearance (due to working within school environments)
